Kessler vs. Calzaghe Sat. night on HBO

Good non PPV fight on HBO Saturday night. Mikkel Kessler (39-0) and Joe Calzaghe (43-0) will be putting their super-middleweight belts on the line for a unification title fight. Haven't had one of those in a while. Casual US boxing fans might not know about these guys but both of them can get their lump on. I saw both of their last HBO fights and they both took care of biz-ness pretty easily. Although Calzaghe's last fight against Peter Manfredo (from The Contender fame) was a laugh-a-thon, no way Sweet Pete should of been in there, it was a total mismatch.
Winner of this fight will probably have to start fighting more in the US to gain popularity, but they have no problemo filling seats overseas. 50,000 strong will be in attendance in Whales to see the slugfest. So who is going to win and how? Let me know or place your vote on the right hand side of the site. Larry Lump Lump will give his prediction on Friday.

Rumps-

What do you know about this Robbie Wood kid out of CT? He's like a Chuvalo type: blood, nose, bones, etc.. but he won't go down, like a Weeble!

I don't know his record, but its worth a ticket just to see tooths fly out.

Any schedule for him coming up, either in a ring or a hospital?

PS: I like this site. We tink the same!

Wood is still active & still looks like a truck ran over his schnoz. I have seen some videos of him in ackshun against some PR guy from South America. The guy was a bum & Wood licked him although Wood bled all over da place.
