Weekend Boxing Schedule

Yaaaawn. Larry Lump taking the day off from working, chillin in his dope robe. All quiet on the fight front these days. There was a snoozer on VS. last night. It was an IBF Welterweight Title Eliminator bout between Joshua Clottey and Shamone Alvarez. Clottey won an easy unanimous decision but I don't think any of the current champs need to be too concerned about this guy.
I read today that EliteXC is trying to put a Ken Shamrock vs. Frank Shamrock fight together. It doesn't seem like there is any bad blood between the two brothers so I really don't know how they are going to be able to go all out if they fight. That's why we will never see the Klitschko brothers fight for the Heavyweight championship.

Other than that the fight year is winding down so not much more to report. Have a great weekend!

No major MMA events this weekend so here is your boxing schedule:

TODAY - at Las Cruces, New Mexico (Telefutura)- 10 rounds, super featherweights: Urbano Antillon(20-0, 13 KOs) vs. Adrian Valdez (18-5-3, 10 KOs).

Mens-

Take Antillon vs. Valdez tonight in the Mexico that is New. Valdi is too old, slow and can't move that well. Plus he's left-handed, so he is deformed.

Picked up good poop on this guy the last two days (stuff like shopping for pottery, smokin'n cacti roots, etc...).

Antillon to the bank baby. Play the parlay with head blows, shoe shuffles & blood drops, plus take the rounds. Hit them all for a nice 40-1 play.

Mr. Moose & the Hump-

This is like stealing! I have played ALL your 9 picks so far and have won thousands. I did get my parlay in very late, was trying to find my seat and WHAM! It's Over! I caught the Book still counting and he gave me the $11,000 on the spot.

I got cute and piced "seconds" for the knock-out instead of a round and he paid off 90-1.

Feliz Navidad guys!

Da Moose is Loose: 9-0

Antillon destroys Valdez!

"World ranked lightweight Urbano Antillon (21-0, 14 KOs) made quick work of Adrian Valdez (18-6-3, 9 KOs), knocking him out in the first round on Friday night at the Dickerson Events Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Antillon, rated WBC #2, WBA #8 and IBF/WBO #10, dropped Valdez with a left hook then finished him with a straight right. The bout lasted 76 seconds."

Piece 'o Cake! Valdi Gallero-man blew this one on Thursday night. After his boys virtually cleaned out the Welcome Inn booze shop, the parties started at Tortilla Flats & the hot Hoot n' Annie downtown. There were enough margaritas flowing to float a boat and the cactus roots were stinkin' up da joint. But it was the "snacks" that did them in: tortilla puffs with spicy beef feets & spinach, quesadilla with hot peppers & mule thighs and the coup de grace of pukes, melon flavored coconut eels. Friday PM was a disaster! Bleary eyed, stained shorts & all, it was amazing that this Mexican showed up at all. He could have been another "Benny the Kid".

Buy someone special a gift with the kerns da Moose gave ya!

Happy Kwanza!
