Weekend Wrap Up-Your Boy is Back

To all you cats who were bustin my chops when I started this blog about my picks....BITE ME.
Your boy has been En Fuego lately. Not only pickin the winners but picking the exact outcomes.
Between me and the Moose you guys should be getting paid in full if you follow our advice!
Let me tell you the first 6 rounds of that Calzaghe/Hopkins fight was a bitch to score but by the end of the fight Mighty Joe was the clear cut winner. You had Hopkins charge in with one big punch then clinch and you had Joe land 4-5 pitter patter combos. Hopkins scored a flash knockdown in the first but after that no one was really hurt. Listen, it wasn't a pretty win for Calzaghe but fights against Hopkins are never pretty. Looking forward to a Joe C. to fight a Pavlik or Jones Jr. next.

I missed the UFC event on Saturday night but I did snag the Georges St. Pierre/Matt Serra fight on YouTube the next morning. Boring grappling fight but St. Pierre controlled the whole fight. Here are the rest of the weekend fight results:

Boxing:
LAS VEGAS (AP)—Joe Calzaghe, Britain, outpointed Bernard Hopkins, Philadelphia, 12, light heavyweights; David Lopez, Mexico, stopped Ryan Davis, East St. Louis, Ill., 5, middleweights.

KATOWICE, Poland (AP)—Tomasz Adamek, Poland, stopped O’Neil Bell, Jamaica, 8, in an IBF cruiserweight title eliminator.
MAGDEBURG, Germany (AP)—Sebastian Zbik, Germany, outpointed Marco Schulze, Germany, 12, to retain his WBO Intercontinental middleweight title; Rene Marcos Maidana, Argentina, stopped Arturo Morua, Mexico, 3, light welterweights.
FREDERIKSUND, Denmark (AP)—Evans Ashira, Kenya, stopped Mamadou Thiam, France 6, to win the vacant Universal Boxing Organization Intercontinental light middleweight title.

Thanks for the plug my boy. Picked up a few new subscribers too because of you. Got one in Bulgaria, two in Chad, one in Alabama & someone called "Glidxy" in some God-awful beakaway "Republic of Modovamanov"? He paid in euros so who cares.

Hey Moose-

Your Aunt Doe had Yakie the Yak call me & tell me about your successes. Nice moves. The Lump looks "OK". You two tight? I've been pickin' reptile fights all over the world the past two years and I'm pretty good at it too. Put in a good word for me with the Lumpster. Maybe I can get into films too!
