Don King Snore Fest-Mayweather at Wrestlemania-Weekend Fight Schedule

So I am sitting here watching the Corey Spinks Verno Philips fight on http://www.donkingtv.com/.

It was nice of Don to give this idea a shot, unfortunately the fight blows, and my ass hurts from sitting at the computer for so long. The crowd is now booing. What surprises me is there is 0 advertising going on. No web banners, no ads in between rounds, no links, nada. If Don is going to post these fights online he is missing out on some good ad revenue.

As for fights this weekend nothing got Larry Lump Lump too Pump Pumped, so no picks from me. The best pound for pound boxer in the world is on PPV this weekend though, at Wrestlemania. I wonder what Vince has up his sleeve for this one? It has the potential of being a huge bust, I just don't see Floyd taking ANY chances of getting an injury goofing around in the squared circle. Edwin Valero to box in the USA-Classic Lump Wednesday

Relax, relax, Larry is back in full effect. No half ass post today. Before I get to the double Lump treat let me tell you a little something about one of the best knockout artists in boxing right now that you never heard of. His name is Edwin Valero, the current WBA Jr. Lightweight champ. 23-0 with 23 KO's. He had first round KO's in his first 12 fights. The Gatti-Ward Trilogy is one of the best boxing battles in my lifetime. The first video is a highlight of all three fights, the second one is round 9 of the first fight which is just out of control. For all those living on another planet, Ward won the first one by decision, Gatti won the next two by decision.

Rumor on the street is that in the next week or so I should be able to snag an exclusive interview with Da Moose Man. The video will be posted on the site. Looking for #19.

With Irish champ Matt Macklin going after another old Mexican on the downward spiral this weekend in "Erin-Go-Braless", while not a pushover, should return nice pounds to our subscribers. The opponent is old man Yory Boy (not a Russkie) Campas who has over 100 bouts to his credit. But three of losses have come in his last 6 fights. This guy still fights 3-4 times a year which probably gives him enough kern so he doesn't have to jump the border into El Paso.

Macklin has all time great Buddy McGirt as his trainer so I'm sure he will be prepared. Meanwhile, Old Boy has been lost in the fields of Ireland. Not a taco, waco, burrito or werm to be found, he's stuck with meals of cabbage, turnips & corned beef. He still has the runs, but the sniff is a bit different than Ole fast food.

Bet on the Boy to be queasy, greasy and at times uneasy. He will get hit and there will be cut issues. The exotic will contain diarrhea, mucous & a puke within 30 minutes before the ring entrance or 60 minutes after he leaves the ring. BANK ON IT! And don't sit in the first 4 rows if you are going. If you never encountered an old-fashioned cabbage windbreak, you certainly don't want it Saturday night!

Pacquiao outpoints Marquez-Lump Man picks another winner-Weekend Boxing Results

OK so your boy L Cubed called this one exactly right, Pacquiao by decision, but I am man enough to admit that I actually scored this fight 114-113 Marquez. At the end of the day I thought he outboxed him. Yes Marquez was almost out in the 3rd and also got rocked in the 10th, but overall I think he countered better and landed more shots than Manny. Marquez was not the stronger man, but he was the more accurate. From the post fight banter it does not seem like we are going to see a trilogy because Pacquiao is talking about moving up in weight. It's too bad because the first fight was a draw and now the second was a controversial split decision. This is a perfect scenario for them to duke it out one more time.
So if you guys have been taking the Moose Man and Larry Lump Lump's advice these past few weeks you should be making some serious moolah. Since BUMPnLUMP went live LL Lump has gone 9(4)-4. The number in parentheses is how many I have called both the winner and outcome (KO or decision). Let's not forget I started off 0-3, so since then it's been a pretty good run. Marquez/Pacquiao Prediction-Weekend Boxing Schedule-Who is Saoul Mamby?

Yo Lumpaputans this is my last post for a few days. I know it's hard to believe, but yes it's true, BUMPnLUMP is not a full time gig. No, it has not made me riches (actually hasn't made me $20 yet). So next week I am out on business. I might get a post in on Monday, but don't be too upset, we might be without a Classic Lump next week.
Anyways good fight schedule this weekend with the headliner being Manuel Marquez (48-3-1, 35 KOs) vs. Manny Pacquaio (45-3-2, 35 KOs) for the WBC super featherweight title. These are little cats with POWER. First one was a classic with Marquez rallying from being knocked down three times in the first round. Fight was scored a draw. I don't think Manny is going to make the same mistake twice. Pacquaio winner by decision.
Sakio Bika, the Contender Champ fights on the under card. He had the crazy slug fest against Jaidon Codrington. If his defense is as bad at it was that night he is going to get taken out.
Pete Manfredo, another Contender is on ESPN2 Friday night.

Lost his last fight to a guy who was 6-25 (why do you still box with a 6-25 record? But that's a question for another day).
OK here is the kicker, good Old (and I mean that literally) Saoul is still an active fighter and just fought last week. Have you done the math yet? He is 60 years old!
The embarrassing part is the 6-25 guy who just beat him is 32 years old and it took him 10 rounds to get the decision!
Part of me says WOW, a 60 year old guy just went 10 rounds with a 32 year old fighter. I sparred a few times in my life and my sessions were 3-4 two minute rounds and I was sucking wind big time. But the other part of me says, how the hell do they allow 60 year old guys and guys with 6-25 records even step foot in the ring? Makes you wonder why NY barred Holyfield a few years ago just cause he lost a couple of fights by decision. Any one else got another view about this nonsense? Let your boy Larry know.
