I really got nada for you today. My posts are not really about bringing you boxing news. There are plenty of sites out there with boxing news, plus I have links and the news ticker to keep ya up to date. So I'm only gonna yap when Larry got somethin to say. Samuel Peter will be meeting a Klitschko in October, unfortunately it's the wrong one. He is going to be fighting Vitali who has not fought since 2004. Must be nice to be out of the fight game for almost four years and then get a title shot your first fight back. Puts a lot of credibility into the sport. What do the top 10 "ranked" heavyweights have to say about that one? Well I guess L3 had to to get something off his chest after all.
Here is your weekend boxing schedule:
TODAY - at Vigo, Spain - 12 rounds, flyweights: Omar Andres Narvaez (26-0-2, 16 KOs) vs. Ivan Pozo (28-4-1, 18 KOs).

Da Moose Sez....
Ray Sanchez bounces back from his loss by KO to Chavez (even though he was winning on pernts) to easily take car of another 35 year old "fill-in" named Patrick Thompson. This bum has dropped 7 out of his last 10 & is being sacrificed so that Ray-Ray can get his confidence back up.
Although Thompson may not go down for the count (he takes batterings) he has no chance in Sanchez's home town of Albuquerque.
Advance scouts had Patty Boy lounging around bars, munchin' corn dogs & yearing for his Nebraska husks. Play the blood ooze from both nostrils here, Rang-a-Tang farts with the first "belt-blow" and a puke for good measure.
Bet the ranch!
Rang-a-Tang Farts?
Do those smell?
What kind of sound do they make?

Moose gets # 24....but it almost was a shocker!
"The two went toe-to-toe in the ninth, with Sanchez getting the best of the exchange until getting rocked by a right hand, nearly grazing the canvas with his glove in efforts to steady himself. It was more of the same in the final round, except Sanchez managed to slip most of the return fire while catching his foe with uppercuts and straight lefts. Thompson was running on empty; most of his connects were arm punches with little oomph behind them. Sanchez’ shots were far more crisp and thrown with conviction, particularly his left hand underneath.
The strong finish was enough for Sanchez to preserve his lead on the scorecards. An even verdict of 95-95 was overruled by scores of 96-94 and a seemingly off 97-93 for the hometown kid, who improves to 21-1 (15KO) with his first win in nearly a year."
Well, it wasn't easy and almost was a Sanchez disaster and all the exotics didn't fall, but we'll take a 12-1 payout anyway on this hometowen scam. We got the puke ON THE WAY TO THE RING but the big excitement was the fart explosion. No stains here but the cheeks barrage by Thompson in the 8th puffed out so much that the ref thought HE got hit. The stench was overwhelming as a week's worth of SouthWest "trash food" emitted foul gasses throught at least half of the Arena. reminiscent of the infamous "Damp Dump" episode (without the turds) back in New Jersey 25 years ago. (Lumper, you got that soundtrack?). Missing on the "blood action", the payoff was a weak 12-1 in most countries, but we'll take it, right Carlos!
I heard about that dump on the Pike. The sound was played on underground cable back in the 90's. IT WAS AMAZING! I couldn't believe that all that stuff could come out of a human! The sounds were awesome too.
I was at a bout in Vancouver years back where a Scandinavian boxer let loose in the ring just before the start of a round. The joint was hoppin'!
