Happy Monday my fellow Lumpers and Lumpettes. Oh man great fight on Sat night. Toe to toe action for 12 rounds as Cotto "squeaked" out a victory over Suga' Shane. I was out watching it at a bar so I was unable to score it, but it was VERY CLOSE. How close you ask? Ringside stats had both of them landing the exact same amount of punches (248). Judges had it 116-113, 115-113 and 115-113 for Cotto. HBO will air the replay next Sat for those who missed out. What's next for these 2 fighters? I would love for Cotto to fight the winner of the Mayweather/Hatton fight, I wouldn't even mind a rematch with Mosely. As for Mosley, he showed he is FAR from being washed up but he hinted he was going to take some time off and focus on promoting.
OK so Larry is now 1-3 with his picks since BUMPnLUMP has gone live. In the world of MMA this weekend the buzz was about Kimbo Slice and his debut. That fight lasted a whole 19 seconds with Kimbo scoring a tap out. Guess we won't know much about Kimbo until he is put in front of some real competition.
Here are the rest of the weekend results.
Boxing:
Nov. 10 -- David Haye records a seventh-round knockoutover Jean-Marc Mormeck in Paris to capture the WBA & WBCcruiserweight titles.
Nov. 10 -- Joel Casamayor records a split decision overJose Armando Santa Cruz in New York to retain his WBClightweight title.
Nov. 10 -- Miguel Angel Cotto records a unanimous decisionover Shane Mosley in New York to retain his WBA welterweighttitle.
Lump Lump is still banged up today from going out on Saturday night. Tomorrow we have another Classic Lump, I'm going to change things up a little bit this week.

Aye Papi - Huh! While I agree this fight was a slug-fest, and I agree that Suga Shane is far from done, THIS FIGHT WAS A DRAW.
I read an article this morning about Cotto looking at Mayweather, in my opinion this kid still has some loose ends to tie up with Mosely. Can you say RE-Match Kid! and say it immediately please!
This may have been all-in-all the best fight I have seen all year. What does that say about boxing in 2007 that we are now in November?
Now in closing....I read my silly cousins post about Kimbo, which I now know he is a true clown in which there is no wonder why we always disagree about boxing/MMA. DUDE KIMBO KNOCKED THIS DUDE THE F@$% OUT, THERE WAS NO TAP!
GET YOUR SH#$ TOGETHER DOG!
OUT!
Willy Lump Lump AKA Dusty Knuckles
I knew Willy was gonna bust my chops so now I have to bust out the multimedia proof to show that it was a tap out in the Kimbo slice fight. Check back to the post, YouTube proof in full effect. As for the Cotto-Mosely fight yes it was very very close and I think Shane does deserve a rematch. Hey Willy sorry but we don't have any Waffle House's up here in the Northeast. You need to go back home to get your hash browns smothered, covered, chunked, and lumped!!!!
Nice YouTube you Lump.
Just when you turn me on to video, the flick gets pulled. SHOW me lumps. I's goota believe this stuff, not tall tales.
