Joey C proved me wrong tonight in his impressive unanimous decision over the younger Mikkel Kessler. Judges had it 117-111, 116-112, and 116-112. Larry Lump Lump scored it 116-113 for Joe C. Over 50,000 fans saw the action packed brawl. "Punches in Bunches" was the theme for Calzaghe, he threw over 1,000 compared to around 600 for Kessler. No one was really hurt during the fight other than Kessler getting tagged pretty good by a body shot in the 8th.
Jim Lampley mentioned that Joe Calzaghe has not lost a fight in over 17 years, that's insane!
So whats next for these two? Looks like a Calzaghe/Hopkins fight might be in the making, but Joey has to get out of Wales for this one, it's Vegas baby or bust! Kessler only has one loss and is still a great fighter, he will regroup and be just fine. Of course after the fight he said he wanted a rematch but I think he would be in for the same type of evening if they went at it again.
Another great week coming up on BUMP n' LUMP. Sir Lump-a-Lot will be yapping about The Contender finale on Tuesday, the big Cotto/Sugar Shane PPV next weekend, and of course LUMP TV will show another Classic Lump.
Until then, keep your hands up and your ass off da canvas.

Hey Hump!
Some of us out here like to watch the low-life bum gym rats. You know the types. The ones you see on late night/early AM TV fights with a record of 4-12-1 who fight, lose, can't talk & fight again as a punching bag target.
Can you give a short list of bums who are still active in da ring and continue on the road to brain damage.
I likes this stuff.
Keep up the good work. Your alternative insight is a welcomed change.
Hey Loser Lover,
That's a tough request however there are two people out there right now that should hang up the gloves but refuse to do so. One is "The Real Deal" Evander Holyfield. The man continues to get beat time and time again yet they still keep giving him title fights and he still refuses to retire. "Dain Bamage" is right around the corner unless someone steps in and tells him to shut it down, he has nothing to prove anymore, he was a great champion. The other one is Tommy "I have been cured of HIV" Morrison. How the hell is he getting licensed to fight still?
If I think of any more I will let you know.
Larry Lump
