Williams can't jab-Weekend Fight Results

Paul Williams let me down. The 6' 1" welterweight, no that is not a typo, could not keep the 5' 9" Carlos Quintana at bay. Judges gave Quintana the unanimous decision and Carlos won the WBO belt from Williams. It was the first defeat for Paul Williams. I scored the fight 116-114 for Quintana. I don't know what Harold Lederman was smoking because he scored it 117-115 for Williams. All Williams had to do was keep the distance and jab away but he was very ineffective and time and time again Quintana was able to get in close and nail Williams in the head with looping/leaping left hooks. Quintana got beat on by Miguel Cotto in 2007 so I don't know where he really stands in the mix of things. Bottom line is that Mayweather Jr. needs to fight Cotto, everything else plays second fiddle in the welterweight division.

Here are the rest of your weekend Boxing Results:

He wasn't eatin. That's the problem.
He needs to get his eat on and step up to a higher weight division. He can't stay skinnny minny anymore.
